Music: Tallahassee - The Mountain Goats

So, since I’ve last written in here, school has started. It feels like routine already, but fortunately I am still entertained and motivated in <s>all</s> most of my classes. I honestly think I have a good chance of doing very well this year.

I’ve gotten a part-time job, well, kind of. I’m working as an assistant for a commercial photographer. She’s inspirational, really. And not to mention one of the most focused and hardworking people I’ve ever met. For the job, I’m currently learning Photoshop CS2 from the “official training workbook from Adobe Systems,” which means I do lessons and learn 3 or 4 ways to do things on the programs, (meaning with different shortcuts, etc.) What most people (mainly teenagers) don’t realize is that Photoshop is such an intricate program that it takes years to master it. I’m also learning to use the Macs she has. The transition has been easy, especially since she has a mouse for it with a right mouse button.

Lately, music and people have been seriously inspiring me. I have tons of ideas for potential photo shoots and short stories.

I'm currently writing a story about a teenaged prostitute from the South. (I’m not exactly sure how the plot will develop, I guess time will tell.) I'd say it's pretty risqué, but what isn't nowadays? Maybe I’ll post it when I finish, which I imagine won’t be for a long while.
